Mike Rasicci
Michael Vincent Rasicci was born into a musical family. (Mike's father, brother, paternal uncle, and paternal grandmother were all pianists.)  Mike, too, showed a proclivity for the instrument at an early age.  He began singing and playing in school and church activities regularly. It was on March 2, 1974, that Mike participated in his first recording, Chichester Psalms by Leonard Bernstein (Robert Page, Director). His next recording project took place on February 14, 1976, with University of Washington Director Rodney Eichenberger on an LP of "Lord Nelson Mass" by Haydn, "Now Thank We" by Pachabel, and "Sanctus" by Faure.  Around the same time while attending Avon Lake High School, Mike and guitarist Doug Wilhelm decided to put a band together with drummer Jim Barney.  Doug not only had the ability to put together a project with the best available players, but he had a sound reinforcement system that included Peavey SP1 mains.  Mike got a Story and Clark organ and a Hammond cabinet with two 15" woofers, and shortly thereafter, their band, Blue Mist, began covering a combination of commercial and eclectic 1970's bands such as Aerosmith,  Bad Company, Creedence Clearwater Revival, David Bowie, Alex Harvey, Elton John, Santana, and Sweet, at a bar next to the Saddle Inn on Lake Road in Avon Lake, OH. Mike teaches advanced Keyboards, guitar and voice.
